Donna J. (Riley) Douglas, 84, of Anderson died on November 19, 2011 at St. John's Hospital following an extended illness.
She was born on May 10, 1927 in Anderson, Indiana the daughter of James B. and Esta (Eastes) Riley. She was a graduate of Daleville High School in 1945. She was employed as a nurse for Dr. Alfred Neale, and she had also served as Town Clerk for Chesterfield. She was a member of Chesterfield Christian Church
She is survived by her husband, E. Merle Douglas, whom she married November 19, 1945 in Daleville, IN, 2 children: Evelyn Alice Christie and Randy M. Douglas both of Anderson. 2 Grandchildren: Douglas Christie and Christopher Douglas. 3 great grandchildren: Meghan, Emily, and Katie Christie. 3 Brothers: Bill Riley of Chesterfield, Tom (Frances) Riley of Anderson, Bob (Betty) Riley of Memphis, TN, and a sister, Carolyn Sue (Tim) Johnson of Bloomfield, Michigan.
Preceded in death by her parents, and 2 brothers Jack and Warner
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 from 12-2 PM at Rozelle Johnson Funeral Service. Private family services will be held at a later date at Bronnenberg Cemetery.
