Jimmie "Jim" Sizemore
March 2, 1943- December 16, 2011

Jimmie "Jim" Sizemore, 68, of Anderson died on December 16, 2011 at Countryside Manor Nursing Home after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born on March 2, 1943 in Bull Creek, Kentucky.
He has been a resident of Anderson since 1966.

He worked production at Delco Remy for 34 years and retired in 1999. Following his retirement, he worked part-time at Killbuck Golf Course until the Spring of 2011.

He was a member of Meadowbrook Baptist Church. He was the Past Master of Markleville Masonic Lodge #629. He was a member of the Killbuck Men's Club and Markleville Order of Eastern Star. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed fishing. He was a very devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Connie (Byrne) Sizemore of Anderson whom he married on November 19, 1966. A daughter and son-in-law, Brooke and Harold Johnson of Anderson; a granddaughter and "best buddy", Arabelle Johnson of Anderson; 6 Sisters and Brothers-in-law, Sue (Terry ) Hann, Louise (Buck) Rodman, and Henri (Bob) Leonard all of Wabash, IN; Dora (Bruce) Gable and Blanche (Mike) Kilander all of South Whitley, IN and Janet (Rodney) Schilling of North Manchester, IN; a Brother, William Sizemore of North Manchester, IN. He is also survived by special family, Marye Smith of Anderson and Bob (Lori) Dickey of Middletown, Several nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Bess Sizemore; a sister, Juanita Castle; 2 brothers-in-law, Ronnie Byrne and Jim Castle; sister-in-law, Bonnie Byrne, and a very special friend, K. Dale Smith.

His funeral services will be on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at 11:30 am at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Dennis Zirkle of Meadowbrook Baptist Church officiating. The burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.

The visitation will be on Monday, December 19, 2011 from 4:00-8:00pm at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with a Masonic Service being held at 7:30pm by Markleville Masonic Lodge #629.

The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Dr. Milligan, Dr. Ross, Dr. Sharief and staff and all the staff at Countryside Manor for all of their loving care and support during his illness.

Memorial Contributions may be given to Meadowbrook Baptist Church or Madison County Humane Society.
