Jacqueline Ann (Gay) Worden , a lifelong resident of Stoughton, passed away at home,after a lengthy illness , on Sunday May 23, 2004. She was 59 years old.
Born June 29, 1944, in Stoughton,MA she was the daughter of the late Mr. Richard and Mrs. Eunice (Paine) Gay.
Mrs. Worden attended Stoughton Public Schools and was a graduate of Stoughton High School.
She was employed by the Somerville Lumber Co. as an Office Manager until her retirement.
She was a member and attended the First Congregational Church in Stoughton.
She was a loving mother and grandmother.
Her hobbies included: Arts/Crafts and quilting.
She is survived by her two sons: Richard A. Worden and his wife Michelle A. Tessier and Scott D. Worden and his wife Renee’ J. Chandanais all of Stoughton. She is also survived by her sister Jean Williams of Hanover, her two grandchildren: Stacie L. and Jessica J. Worden, both of Stoughton and her “ Special Aunt” and best friend Ruth Morrow of Brockton. She was the former wife of Edward I. Worden of FLA.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday May 26, 2004 at 11 A.M. from the Sheehan Funeral Home, 115 Monk Street ( Off Rt. 138 at the First Federal Savings Bank), Stoughton, with Evan Lowell, a family friend, officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton. Visiting hours are on Tuesday May 25, 2004 from 7-9 P.M.
