Gerald Glenn "Jerry" Denniston, age 65 of Anderson died at his residence unexpectedly.
He was born August 31, 1946 in Bloomington, IL to Glenn Ira and Lola Alice (Mosson) Denniston Brooks.
He worked as a maintenance technician from March 1978 to January 2009 at the Speedway Super America for 31 years before retiring on January 7, 2009.
Military: He served in the U.S. Air Force.
Organizations/memberships/hobbies: He loved working with his pond and yard and liked playing games on the computer.
He is survived by his wife Karan (Harney) Denniston of Anderson whom he married March 30, 2002; his mother Lola Alice (Mosson) Denniston Brooks, his daughter Angela (Denniston) Bee, his son Charles Glenn Denniston; stepchildren Angela Laughlin and Deana Buttler; grandchildren Matthew Denniston, Logan Bee and Kyler Denniston; step grandchildren Kourtney Kleinbub, Konnor Kleinbub, Matthew Buttler, Taylor Laughlin and Hannah Laughlin, great grandchild Dehlila Kleinbub; sister Linda Doty and twin sister Jeanne Maish; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father Glenn Ira Denniston, stepfather Robert G. Brooks
Services will be Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor John Hackney of Crossroads United Methodist Church officiating.
Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
The visitation will be on Monday, December 26 from 4-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to the charity of the donor's choice.
