Jerry Lee Stanley, age 69 of Anderson died unexpectedly at his residence December 28, 2011.
Jerry was born November 2, 1942 in Anderson, IN to Norman and Orpha Marie (Murdock) Stanley.
He was a truck driver for S & H Trucking and member of Local 135 International Brotherhood of Teamsters. He enjoyed taking care of the yard and mowing.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years Alvina (Pease) Stanley; 2 children: Lisa Stanley (Terry Marriott) and Jerry Lee Stanley, Jr. all of Anderson; 3 grandchildren Daniel (Jessica Haisley) Reel; Erica (Steven Frye) Reel; Lindsey Stanley; 2 great grandchildren Justice Reel and Rayden Fry; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his uncle Robert Stanley.
Services will be Monday, January 2, 2012 at 7:00 P.M. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Ned Clark officiating.
Burial will be at a later date in Bronnenberg Cemetery.
The visitation will be Monday from 5 P.M. until the service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to American Diabetes Association or Riley Hospital for Children.
