Jonah Edd Gossage
December 10, 1933 - December 28, 2011

Jonah Edd "Ned" Gossage, 78 of Anderson died at his residence after a brief illness.

Ned was born in Grape, Kentucky December 10, 1933 to Hubert and Lillian (Eller) Gossage.

He served in the U.S. Navy 20 years retiring as a Chief Petty Officer in 1971; then entered into Civil Service retiring in 1989 as a Boiler plant foreman.

He was a member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association.

He is survived by his wife Sharon (Lagle) Gossage of Anderson whom he married December 16, 1988 in Ward, Arkansas; 4 children Michael Gossage of Indianapolis, Bret Gossage of Anderson, Jenni (Mike) Coon of Anderson, Dee Dee (Ralph) Keesling of Anderson, and 5 stepchildren Bryan Lagle of Richmond, Marc Miquels of Anderson, Amy (Bernie) Gilbert of Logansport, Erssie (Andrea) Garretson, IV of Anderson and Misty (Jessie) Hammock of Anderson; 9 grandchildren: Marissa (Nate) Rose; Katie Coon; Mackenzie Gossage, Taylor Gossage, Austin Keesling, Cody Miquels; Tiffany Garretson, Brent Garretson and Trai Miquels; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Hugh.

Graveside services will be Friday, December 30, at noon at the Marion National Cemetery.
