New Bedford – Estelle M. (Perry) Domingos-Brownell, 75, of New Bedford died after a long illness on May 24, 2004 at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was the widow of Charles H. Brownell and the former wife of Lawrence Domingos of New Bedford.
Mrs. Domingos-Brownell was born in Acushnet, daughter of the late Gus and Mary S. (Chaves) Perry, and was a lifelong resident of New Bedford. She was employed by Aerovox Inc. as a winder until her retirement in 1994. She enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles and traveling, especially to New Hampshire. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include 2 daughters: Cheryl A. Miranda and Gail S. Swallow both of New Bedford; 2 sons: Bruce L. Domingos of New Bedford and Bryan A. Domingos of Shirley, MA; a sister: Dorothy Kropp of PA; 8 grandchildren: Scott A. Domingos, Dereck M. Domingos, Sarah M. Domingos, Tiffany J. Miranda, Wen-dee J. Miranda, Aaron S. Domingos, Lindsey J. Domingos and Ian D. Domingos all of New Bedford; and 6 great-grandchildren: Kathy Domingos, Scott Domingos, Devin Daigle, Frances Domingos, Dereck Domingos and Nyel Miranda-Carrasquillo all of New Bedford.
