Obituary

In Taunton, September 4, 2012 Kenneth Campbell, age 92 passed away following a brief illness in Morton Hospital. Kenneth was the husband of the late Constance (Bearse) Campbell. He was born in Berwick, ME, the son of the late Herbert & Matilda (Lounsbury) Campbell. Kenneth has lived all his adult life in Raynham, He served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Kenneth was the former co owner of Campbell Brothers Sunoco Gas Station/Phillips 66 in Raynham, also known as the little Town Hall. He also worked for the Town of Raynham as a special police officer and an on call fireman. Ken was a former member of the American Legion, he enjoyed boating, woodworking and being with his family. He leaves his son Brian Campbell of Raynham and his late son John Campbell. Ken is survived by his siblings Shirley Methe of Schroon Lake, N.Y., Donald Campbell of Taunton, Robert Campbell of Raynham and the late Lawrence Campbell. He also leaves his grandchildren Michael Campbell of California, Jennifer Campbell of Taunton, Brenton Campbell of FL, Josiah Campbell of FL and Amanda Romani of Taunton and several great grandchildren. A funeral home service will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Sat. Sept. 8th at 9am. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Friday from 5-7pm. Burial will be in in Pleasant St. Cemetery in Raynham. Donations in Kenneth’s memory may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care, 502 Bedford St., Fall River, MA 02720
