Daniel C. Callahan age 67 of Canton passed away September 3rd at the Beth Israel Hospital. Born in Chelsea, he was raised in Dorchester and attended St. Patrick’s School and Cathedral High School. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Vietnam War. He worked in the Computer Department for the Massachusetts State Lottery for 20 years before retiring in 2004. Beloved husband of Susan W. (Ward). Father of Joseph D. Callahan of S. Boston. Brother of Mary Ritchie & her husband Kenneth of Maine, Joan Lorina & her husband Anthony of Quincy & Paul Callahan & his wife Sandy of Abington. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Wednesday 4-8 pm. Funeral mass at St. Gerard Majella Church Canton Thursday morning at 10. Burial private.
