Phillip D. Miller
May 16, 1943 to January 9, 2012

Phillip D. Miller, age 68 of Anderson died at Community Hospital on January 9, 2012 after a brief illness.
He was born May 16, 1943 in Anderson, IN to Harold W. and Alice Helen (Taylor) Miller.

He was an electronic technician at Delphi 38 years before retiring in 2004.

He attended Park Place Church of God where he was a member of the Choir, Cogitators Sunday School Class; and active in audio recording at the church. He was a member of E.M.A. and the Local Repeater Club. His amateur radio call sign was WB9URL.

He served in the US Air Force.

He is survived by his wife Sharon L. (Kremiller) Miller of Anderson whom he married March 21, 1970 in Anderson; sons Darrell (Karyn) Miller of Wyoming, OH; Dr. Derick Miller (companion Alicia Decker) of Lafayette, IN; and daughter Dawn Campbell of Bloomington, IN; 2 brothers: David H. (Lavonne) Miller of Ft. Wayne and Barry (Sharon) Miller of Anderson; his sister Diane Copeland; grandchildren: Sophia Miller, Iris Miller, Edyn Campbell; special brother Guido Politano and special family Johnny Campbell and his family Cheyenne Campbell, Destyn Campbell and Myrical Campbell.

Preceded in death by his father, Harold Miller, his mother Alice Helen Miller and his stepmother Norma Jean Miller and his brother Milton C. Miller.

Services will be Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 12:00 noon at Park Place Church of God with Dr. David Markle officiating.

Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery at a later date.

The visitation will be on Saturday, January 14 from 10 am until 12 P.M. at the church.

Memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart Association, Park Place Church of God Choir or the Polycystic Kidney Disease Foundation.
