Earnest B. Dailey, 87, died at Alexandria Care Center on January 24, 2012 after an extended illness.
Earnest was born on September 16, 1924 in Cynthiana, Kentucky to Luther C. and Minnie (Withers) Dailey.
Military: He served in the US Navy during WW II.
He worked at Best Ever/East Side Jersey Dairy 48 years before retiring in 1989. He was self employed as a master electrician.
He was a member of the Church of God.
He is survived by his sons Jim (Julie) Dailey of Stonewall, LA and Larry (Nancy) Dailey of Kokomo; 5 grandchildren Rev. Jonathan (Kendra) Dailey in Southeast Asia; Jenelle & Rev. James Scott Grey of Carmi, IL; Gena Massey of Tipton; Kimberly Morrisett of Kokomo and Richard Stout of Kokomo; 17 great grandchildren several nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Dorothy Jean (Rawlings) Dailey died on February 17, 2008; 5 brothers; Clarence; Thomas; Leon; Ruben and Charles and 2 sisters Mary Bedford and Thelma Brown and a granddaughter Dawn Landseadell.
Services will be on Saturday, January 28, at 11:00 A.M. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
The visitation will be on Friday, January 27 from 4 PM until 8 PM at the funeral home.
