Virginia Dare "Ginny" (Cantrell) Dial, age 83 of Chesterfield died at Community Hospital in Anderson after an extended illness.
Ginny was born May 10, 1928 in Tennessee to Ezra and Irene (Robins) Cantrell.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening.
She married Curtis Frank Dial in 1946 in Clay County Arkansas.
She is survived by her 4 children: Linda Myers, Shirley (Garry) Solid all of Chesterfield, IN; Cathie (Chuck) Koeppen of Carmel and Frankie (Lana) Dial of Anderson; brother L.J. Cantrell of Michigan; brother-in-law: Verlon (Norma) Dial of Florida; 9 grandchildren; Misti Ann Heldt, Shelly (Jay) Jarvis; Kim Green; Carrie Stock; Cherie (Heath) Struve, Jennifer (Jeff) Beer, Derek (Jennifer) Dial, Christie (Robb) Paul and Charlie Koeppen; 9 great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her son Gary Dial.
Services will be 7:00 P.M. Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Chaplain Rob Mifflin officiating.
Cremation will take place.
The visitation will be 2 hours prior to the service at the funeral service.
