Billy Dean Clore

Billy Dean Clore, age 81 of Anderson died March 25, 2012 at St. John's Hospital following an extended illness.
Billy was born April 29, 1930 in Delaware County, IN to William Earl Clore and Ethel Merle (Helvey) Sprague.
He was a security officer for Purdue University before joining the Anderson City Police Department from 1953 to 1973. He drilled water wells with Norris Brothers for 30 years; Madison County Highway Foreman then moved to Miller Container Plant in Georgia where he retired again.
He was a member of Allen Bethel; Colonial United Methodist; Gethsemane Four Square Church; F.O.P. and the American Legion Post 408.
He enjoyed fishing, going on his pontoon boat, teaching his grandson how to shoot guns and taking care of his family especially his wife and children.
He is survived by his wife Anita (Reeves) Clore of Anderson whom he married November 21, 1950; his son Steven Bradley Clore, and his daughter Elizabeth Ann (Clore) Dufresne; 4 grandchildren Jessica Christine (Clore) Adams; Kathleen Rose Clore, Kortnie Noel Dufresne and Elias Clore Dufresne; great grandchildren Jasmine Elizabeth Jean Petry; Riley Olivia Marie Adams; Thomas Dean Smith; 4 siblings Dave Brogden, Bobby Lee Sprague, Laura Lou (Wyatt) Riley and Robert Clore and many loved nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his beloved grandparents Ottie & Bill Patterson; his parents, his brother Bobby Myers sisters Barbara Jean Engelbrecht and Lorraine Peterson.
Services will be Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at 3:00 P.M. at Gethsemane Four Square Gospel Church with Bob Henderson officiating.
The visitation will be from 1 to 3 P.M. at the church prior to the service.
