Richard C. "Dick" McCampbell, 84, of Anderson, died April 14, 2012 at St. Johns Hospital following and extended illness.
He was born on January 29, 1928 in Indianapolis, and graduated in 1946 from Anderson High School. He served in the United States Army. He was a dental technician for over 40 years, and was the owner of LAIB Dental Lab from 1970 until 2009. He was a member of the former Noble Street United Methodist Church. He enjoyed woodworking and was an avid reader.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Doris Olek McCampbell whom he married February 7, 1947. 3 children: James R. McCampbell of Anderson, Ann Eldridge of Jeffersonville, IN and Holly C. McCampbell of Winamac, IN . 1 grandchild: Brandy Harlamert of Louisville,Ky and 2 great grandchildren, Jacie and Jaelyn. 1 brother, Kent L. McCampbell of DesMoines, Iowa, 2 nieces, Jessica and Victoria McCampbell
Preceded in death by his parents, Clifford H. and Betty L. (Bishop) McCampbell.
Services will be on Tuesday, April 17th at 2PM at Rozelle Johnson Funeral Service with Rev, John Hackney officiating. Entombment will follow at Anderson Memorial Park. Visitation will be at 2 hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
