Lydia (Arndt) Parks, age 97 formerly of Anderson died at McGivney Healthcare Center in Carmel on May 6, 2012 following an extended illness.
Lydia was born February 5, 1915 in Whitemouth, Manitoba, Canada.
She was a secretary to Wholesale Manager at Warner Press for 10 years before retiring in 1977.
She attended Park Place Church of God. She was a member of Meg March Club.
She is survived by her daughter Michele Walters of Noblesville, IN; her son Dr. Michael E. (Lisa) Parks of Buffalo, NY; grandchildren Curt Walters; Mark Walters; Ben Walters; Andy Walters; Kenyon Parks; Alex Parks and Briton Nelson; 10 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Leonard Parks; her 3 sisters and 3 brothers.
Services will be Wednesday, May 9 at 2:00 P.M. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Phil Bruzzese officiating.
Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
The visitation will be from 1 P.M. until the service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to Prison Fellowship Ministry (providing Bibles for Prisoners) or Crosspoint Church in Fishers, IN.
