WORCESTER___Elizabeth E. (Harris) Gonyou, 67, of Worcester, died Friday, May 21, in St. Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center.
She leaves her husband of 47 years, Louis S. Gonyou of Leicester; a son, Louis N. Gonyou of Worcester; four daughters, Arlene B. Turner of Worcester, Charlene L. Dumais of Leicester, Tina M. Gonyou, and Melissa A. Gonyou, both of Worcester; a brother, Roy Harris of Worcester; three sisters, Geraldine Beeso of Worcester, Susan Audette of Leicester, and Jane Robbins of Worcester; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; nephews and nieces. Two brothers, Frank and Robert Harris, predeceased her. She was born in Burlington, VT, daughter of Joseph and Bertha (Burbo) Harris and lived here most of her life.
She was a member of St. Peter’s Parish.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, May 25, from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Peter’s Church, 931 Main St. Burial will be private. Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 24, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Peter’s Church, 929 Main St., Worcester, MA 01610.
