Harriett Ann (Lane) Buckles
March 20, 1931 to May 10, 2012
Harriett Ann (Lane) Buckles died May 10 at St. John's Hospital, after an extended illness. She was an 18 year breast cancer survivor and had been diabetic since 1967.
She was born in Anderson, IN on March 20, 1931 to John and Inez (Loy) Lane.
She was a 1949 Anderson High School graduate and was a full time homemaker. She worked alongside her husband, Harry E. Buckles in their business, Harry Country Auction 1970 to 1989.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Harry E. Buckles; two daughters, Judy Buckles and RuthAnn Ginder, her special son-in-law of 33 years Rick Ginder; special brother-in-law Arthur Monroe, Jr. Payson, AZ who introduced her to her husband Harry on a blind date in December 1950.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and a brother.
Per her request, no visitation or service will be performed and cremation will take place.
