Stephen K. "Beatle" Bailey, age 61 of Anderson died at St. John's Medical Center on May 15, 2012 after an extended illness.
Stephen was born October 11, 1950 in Anderson, In to Henry and Mae (Border) Bailey.
He was a lifelong Anderson resident.
He was employed at Delco Remy for 30 years before retiring in 1999 from Plant 11.
He served in the Indiana National Guard.
He was a member of A.B.A.T.E. and Veterans Club.
He enjoyed golfing, softball and bowling and he loved NASCAR races. He wintered in Clermont, FL.
He is survived by his wife Joyce A. (Parrish) Bailey of Anderson; son Jason Bailey of Chesterfield; daughter Christine Martin of Chesterfield; step-son Chris Keller of Anderson; siblings Richard (Ann) Bailey of Rocksprings, GA; Betty Ryder of Venice, FL and Randy Bailey of Alexandria; 6 grandchildren; many special friends and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his 2 sisters Henrietta Sczesney and Diane Fadely.
Memorial services will be Saturday May 19 at 2:00 P.M. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Ned Clark officiating.
Burial of cremated remains will be in Grovelawn Cemetery in Pendleton.
The visitation will be from noon until the funeral at the funeral home.
