Phylis "Kay" (Baldwin) Stewart, 76, of Chesterfield, died at her residence July 10, 2012 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born April 5, 1936 in Anderson, IN to James and Cory Baldwin.
Phylis was deputy clerk of the Town of Chesterfield for 30 years from 1965 to 1995.
She enjoyed NASCAR, Dancing with the Stars, and Survivor.
Phylis is survived by her husband Clarence Paul Stewart of Chesterfield, whom she married October 9, 1954; 2 sons Jerry & Anita Stewart and Bobby Joe & Virg Stewart all of Chesterfield; grandchildren Mark & Kelley Stewart, Jerry Joe & Kailan & Kyle Lee Stewart and Kevin Stewart; 4 great grandchildren Lauren, Kaisy, Jenna and Max Stewart; 2 sisters Verna Elliott and Vera Campbell and her brother Jim Baldwin; special family members Steve & Becky Ross and Joy Funk.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Betty Ponsler and her son Steven P. Stewart.
Services will be Friday, July 13 at 3:00 P.M. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Ned Clark of Chesterfield Christian Church officiating.
Burial will be in Bronnenberg Cemetery in Chesterfield.
The visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to People First Hospice of Indianapolis.
