Nancy E. Meek, 88, of Anderson died on June 15, 2012 at her residence following an brief illness.
She was born on February 28, 1924 in Fortville, Indiana.
She was employed at Delco Remy for 37 years.
She was a member of the Lady Elks #209. She loved taking care of her home and yard. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her 2 nephews, David (Bess) DeBolt of Tennessee and Ron Meek of Anderson; 4 Nieces, Barbara (Bill) Glaze of Michigan, Shar-Anne (Steve) Herron and Cheryl (Bob) Stowe all of Tennessee, and Marsha Reed of Anderson; lots of great, great-great, and great great-great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Tillie (Cook) Flynn, her husband, Franklin Meek, and 2 sisters, Jane Summers and Margaret Skouden.
Services will be Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at 12:00 noon at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service. The burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. The visitation will be 2 hours prior to service at the funeral home.
