Ruth L. "Ruthi" Painter-Woodruff

Ruth L. "Ruthi" Painter -Woodruff, 55, of Alexandria, died on July 26, 2012 at St. Johns Hospital in Anderson following a month long illness.
She was born on July 26, 1957 in Anderson to Ronald E. Keffer Sir and Patricia Penrod Keffer. She served in the US Marine Corp for 2 years and was a homemaker
She is survived by her husband Gary A. Woodruff; her mother, Patricia Leisure; 2 children, Tia Keffer and Nathan Painter; stepson Jeremy Woodruff; 2 Grandchildren, Timiah Long and Willie Perry; 4 siblings, Linda "Carol" Moore, husband Larry; Ronald Keffer Jr.; Patricia Keffer and Brian Goodpastor; a sister-in-law, Cathy Taylor, husband Jack; mother in law, Esther Kearns and father-in-law, Phillip Woodruff, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, a brother, John McDaniel, grandparents, Lura and George Penrod, and Farrell Fox.
Services will be on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at 2:30pm at Rozelle Johnson Funeral Service, officiated by Pastor Jack A. Downs. Burial will follow at the East Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday, 2 hours prior to the service.
Memorial contributions may be given to the family in care of the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
