Wanetia M. McKee

Wanetia M. (Warren) McKee, 83, of Chesterfield, went to be with our Lord on August 2, 2012. She was born on April 21, 1929 in Dayton, Indiana , the daughter of Walter A. and Amy Ruth (Altum ) Warren. She was a graduate of Anderson High School and worked for General Motors where she retired after 38 years.
She enjoyed reading, crocheting, gardening and watching the birds at her feeders in the yard.
SURVIVORS: 2 daughters, Sharon L. Swisk ( husband Jim) and Micki J. Carpenter (husband Troy). 3 grandchildren: Laurie J. Swisk (husband Tony), Krista L. Carpenter (fiance' Rob), and Troy D. Carpenter. 3 Great Grandchildren: Larissa M. Swisk, Ayden Joseph Swisk-Zerkle, and Robert D. Airey. 2 Brothers: Robert Warren and Walter Warren and several nieces and nephews.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: her brother, Richard Warren, her son, Robert J. McKee, and her grandson, Chad A. McKee.
DATE, PLACE AND TIME OF SERVICES: Services will be on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Rozelle Johnson Funeral Service, with Ned Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday, 2 hours prior to the service, from 12 Noon until 2PM.
Memorial contributions may be given in lieu of flowers, to American Diabetes Association.
