Kenneth Charles Parsons, 61, of Chester, NH, died Wednesday August 29, 2012 at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center, Burlington, MA surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 21, 1950 in Quincy, MA, a son of the late Richard K. Parsons and Rose (Evangelista) Parsons Howard. Kenneth proudly served his country in the US Air Force. Most recently, he owned and operated First Choice Floor Products for over 10 years. Prior to owning his own business, Ken worked as a mechanic at Hoboken Wood Flooring for 10 years and was a Senior East Coast Mechanic for Martin Walter Co servicing Travelifts on the East Coast for many years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Elaine, three children, Scott, Christine, and Matthew, four grandchildren, Mikala, Triston, Heather, and Danielle, one great-grandchild, Madison, one sister, Andrea and one brother, Richard. He was also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friends. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his step father Fred Howard and one son Claiborne.
Calling hours were held on Saturday, September 1, 2012 from 10:00am – 12:00pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry, NH. A Funeral service was held on Saturday at 12:00pm in the funeral home.
