Bedford- Vivianne L. Stefanis, 82, died August 29, 2012 at her home following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Manchester on December 13, 1929 the daughter of Lloyd and Laura V. (Munn) Meijer and had been a lifelong resident of this community.
She graduated from Manchester Central High School.
Prior to her retirement she had been Director of Volunteer Services at the Elliot Hospital, a sales representative for Phillip Morris and a hostess at various local restaurants.
She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary CWV Post 8214, and the Disabled American Veterans.
She also held membership in many social organizations throughout Manchester.
She was predeceased by her husband, George Stefanis on January 25, 1982.
Members of her family include two daughters; Candace Bernard of Nevada and Cheryl Lachance of Bedford, four grandchildren; Brandon C. Lachance, Stephanie Lachance, Tyler Bernard and Tasha Lachance, one brother Michael O’Donnell of Manchester, one sister Patricia Topham of Campton, 5 nephews; Michael P. O’Donnell III, James O’Donnell, Mark Topham, Christopher L. Topham, Gavel C. Topham, and 1 niece, Kim Topham Mayhew.
A memorial reception will be on Saturday, September 8, 2012 from 10 AM to 12 PM at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St. A funeral service will take place at 11:30 AM during the reception .
Burial will be at a later date at the convenience of the family.
