John G. Paderson and his wife Kathleen of Newark, Delaware. Grandfather of Melissa B. Shulman and Allyson L. Shulman. Devoted companion of Janet Moore of Hyde Park, MA.
Funeral Service in the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street ((Rte 123) Brockton Friday at 11 am. Visitation Friday 10 - 11 am. Burial will be private. Donations in George’s memory may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc., 50 Colvin Ave., Albany, NY 12206.
Mr. Paderson died peacefully at his home on Monday February 25, 2002. He was born in Roxbury, son of the late Maurice G. and Sophie (Zander) Paderson. He was raised in Fall River and graduated from Durfee High School. He was a Brockton resident for the past 10 years, previously living in Hyde Park and Dorchester.
During WW II he served in US Army as a demolition specialist with the 2901st Engineer Technical Intelligence Team in European Theater. At the time of his death he was employed as a special needs school bus driver for Transcom Transportation, previously he had worked at Allis Chalmers in Hyde Park.
He was an avid reader and loved to travel. Survived by a daughter Suzanne A. Shulman and a son Rev. John G. PadersonTwo granddaughters Melissa B. Shulman and Allyson L. Shulman. Funeral Service in the J. Frank Coney Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street, Brockton Friday at 11 AM. The Rev. Sydney McCollum of the Presbyterian Church in Sudbury will officiate. Burial will be private.
