In Raynham, August 28, 2012, Mary L. McGrath, age 87 passed away following a period of declining health in the Life Care Center of Raynham. Mary was born in Taunton, the daughter of the late Frank H. & Lillian (Reilly) McGrath. She has resided in Raynham since the 1960’s. Mary was a graduate of Taunton High School class of 1943 and a graduate of the Carney Hospital School of Nursing class of 1947. She was employed as a registered nurse at the Brockton Veterans Hospital, retiring in 1980. Mary was a past member of the Visiting Nurse Association, Gaelic Society and the Weir Seniors. She enjoyed Cape Cod, traveling and reading. Mary was preceded in death by her brother James H. McGrath. She is survived by her sister-in-law Catherine McGrath of Taunton, her nephews William McGrath and his wife Lorrie of Holbrook and Michael McGrath and his wife Athena of South Yarmouth and her niece Patricia Brown of Mahwah, N.J.. She also leaves her grand nieces Katherine and Ava McGrath. Funeral home visiting hours will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Sat., Sept. 1, 2012 from 9:30-10:30am. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Ann’s Church in Raynham at 11am. Interment will be in the family lot in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Taunton.
