Eunice C. (Brown) Muhs, 80, of New Bedford died May 21, 2004 at home after a long illness.
She was the wife of the late Fred Muhs.
Born in Hartford, CT, daughter of the late Ralph and Alice (Tyler) Brown, she lived in West Hampton Beach, Long Island most of her life before moving to New Bedford in 2000.
She was formerly employed as a secretary and home health aide.
Survivors include a daughter, Peggy Swartz, and her husband Pastor Larry Swartz, of New Bedford; 2 sons, Thomas Muhs of West Hampton Beach, Long Island and James Muhs of Pompano Beach, FL; 2 brother, Ralph Brown, Jr. of Virginia and Robert Brown of Colorado; a sister, Barbara Voi of Kansas City, Kansas; 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Fred Muhs, Jr. and mother-in-law of the late Karen Muhs.
Her Funeral Service will be held in West Hampton Beach Long Island. Local Arrangements are with the Saunders-Dwyer Home For Funerals, 495 Park St. New Bedford.
