Harry Lee Campbell, 93, passed away August 28, 2012 at the Christopher East Nursing Home.
He was born in Hart County, Ky, retired from General Electric after 28 years and attended Ralph Avenue Baptist Church for many years with his wife, Lena.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lena Whitlow Campbell to whom he was married for over 60 years; and also his four brothers.
He is survived by his daughter, Alveda C. Fulner (John); three granddaughters, Deborah Duffy (Mark), Melinda Fulner (Vickie Harley, who was a caregiver for Harry) and Patricia Stephens (Craig); five great- grandchildren, Keith, Brendon, Neal, Christina and Elizabeth.
Harry was a kind, gentle, generous and loving person. His family would like to express their deep appreciation and gratitude to all who cared for him at Christopher East.
Funeral service will be held 10 am, Saturday at Owen Funeral Home – Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Rd. Visitation will be Friday 3-8 pm at the Funeral Home. Burial will in Louisville Memorial Gardens West Cemetery.
