Norman A. “BJ” Bjork Davison, 69, of Foxboro died August 26 in Kindred Hospital Northeast in Stoughton.
Born in Boston, August 21, 1943, the son of Anna (Anderson) Bjork Davison of Walpole and the late Ernest Bjork and the late Carl Davison, Mr. Bjork Davison was raised in the Jamaica Plain section of Boston and had lived in Avon for several years prior to moving to Foxboro over 10 years ago.
Norman studied at Augustana College, The University of Nebraska, and The Boston Museum of Fine Arts.
He also studied for many years with artists such as Al Albrektson, Joel Babb and Constance Pratt.
Mr. Pratt taught art in the New England area for many years.
He also painted portraits and paintings. BJ was the recipient of many awards and his works are in private and corporate collections, internationally.
He operated his own studio in Foxboro.
He also had his own TV art Show on Foxboro Cable.
BJ also loved to garden.
Mr. Bjork Davison served in the Air Force during the early 1960’s.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brothers Carl Bjork of Walpole and John Davison of Wrentham.
He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
His funeral service and interment will be private.
Visiting hours will be on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. in the Ginley Funeral Home 892 Main St. in Walpole.
