Tewksbury, MA - Joseph Bouvier, age 72, died May 12, at the Tewksbury Hospital inTewksbury, MA, after a long period of declining health. He was the husband of the late Carol(Fillion) Bouvier.
He was born in Bridgeport, a son of the late Wilford and Mildred (Hubbell) Bouvier. He wasraised in the Bridgeport area, but had been in residence in the greater Boston area for severalyears, where he worked in general construction.
During the Korean War, he served in the U.S. Army.
He was a former communicant of St. Anne’s Church in Bridgeport.
He is survived by one sister, Alaine Keiser of Fairfield; one brother Donald Bouvier ofBridgeport; and many nieces and nephews.
He was also brother of the late Wilford Bouvier, Bernice Karolkowski, Milton Bouvier, Francis“Frank” Bouvier, Ruth Ely, and Rose Rumovicz.
Following cremation, a graveside service was held on May 28, in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Stratford, CT.
