Christine I. (Condurelli) Peabody Mahoney, 77, of Methuen, died peacefully Saturday, August 25, 2012 at Lawrence General Hospital.
Christine, daughter of the late Baldo and Rita (Hatem) Condurelli, was born in Lawrence on September 24, 1934. She attended graduated from Lawrence HIgh School, class of 1952 and later went on to graduate from Merrimack College in North Andover. Christine was employed with American Power Device in Lynn for eighteen years prior to her retirement. She enjoyed playing BINGO and was an avid reader. She also enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.
Christine will be sadly missed by her two sons, James D. Peabody and David M. Peabody, both of North Andover; three sisters, Lucile Messineo of Lawrence, Virginia Guerrera and her husband Nicholas of Methuen and Rita Bonacorsi and her husband thomas of Florida; two grandchildren, Jeffrey Peabody and his wife Amy of Danvers and John Peabody of Beverly, two great grandchildren and her former husband, James H. Peabody. Christine was predeceased by her husband, Kimball Mahoney.
Family and friends are planning to honor and celebrate Christine’s life by gathering for a Funeral Service in the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St., Methuen on Friday, August 31, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Methuen.
