Dartmouth – Gerald D. Brochu, 50, of North Dartmouth, died Thursday, May 20, 2004, unexpectedly at home. He was born in Fall River, the son of Virginia (Metzler) Brochu and the late Joseph D. Benoit Brochu, and had resided in Dartmouth for most of his life.
Mr. Brochu attended New Hope Christian Church in Swansea. A 1972 graduate of Dartmouth High School and graduate of the former Southeastern Massachusetts University now University of Massachusetts – Dartmouth with a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering. He was an avid gardener.
Survivors including his mother are: a brother: Mark J. Brochu of Freetown; a sister: Rosemary A. Pawlic of Tiverton; and several nieces and nephews.
Services to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Monday, May 24, 2004 at 10:00 A.M. at the POTTER FUNERAL HOME, 81 Reed Road, Westport.
Calling hours Sunday 4 – 7 P.M.
Interment will be private.
