Donald Thomas Baker, Sr., 70, of Enigma died Wednesday, August 22, 2012, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 26, 2012, at Mount Zion Ministries in Enigma. Rev. Garvey Nichols will officiate with burial to follow in Enigma Cemetery. His grandsons, John Tullo, Jr., Michael Tullo, Chris Tullo, Bobby Huggins, Cody Baker and C. J. Baker, will serve as pallbearers.
Mr. Baker was born on June 24, 1942 in Berrien County and was the son of George Thomas Baker and Ethel Harper Baker, both deceased. He was also preceded in death by one son, Georgie Ray Baker; and one sister, Reda Cain. He was a retired carpenter and of the Holiness faith.
Mr. Baker is survived by three sons, Donald Thomas Baker, Jr. of Enigma, George Hilton Baker of Enigma and Keith Anthony Baker of Jacksonville, Florida; three daughters, Nina Suzette Tullo of Tifton, Ethel Marie Huggins of Glynn St. Mary and Danita Paulette Hobby of Fountain, Florida; three brothers, Lendon Baker of Enigma, Willie Ray Baker of Enigma and Gene Baker of Lenox; three sisters, Mary Edna Hawk of Atlanta, Eda McKee of Adrian and Connie Moseley of Dellwood; 26 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and his former wife, Thelma Tomlinson of Enigma.
