Obituary

WEBSTER – Celia M. (Kozlowski) Biadasz, age 92, of 47 Elm Street, died Wednesday, May 19, in Hubbard Regional Hospital. Her husband of 60 years, Frank P. “Barnum” Biadasz, died in 1993.

She leaves a son, Victor P. Biadasz of Webster; a daughter, Mary D. Urban of Millbury; 2 sisters, Theresa Spiewak of Webster and Esther Jezerski of Southbridge; 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Stanley Kozlowski, and by a sister, Joanne Szczypien, both of Webster.

She was born in Webster, a daughter of Michael and Josephine (Mrozinski) Kozlowski, and was a lifelong resident.

Mrs. Biadasz was a weaver at Stevens Linen Associates in Dudley for many years, She then was a finisher at Sandlerette Footwear Co. for several years, retiring in 1973. She was a member of Saint Joseph Basilica and of its Holy Rosary Sodality, Sacred Heart Society and Saint Anne Society.

The funeral will be held Saturday, May 22, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Saint Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb Street. Burial will be in Saint Joseph Garden of Peace. Calling hours are from 7:00 to 9:00 PM Friday, May 21, in the funeral home. The family suggests donations be made either to the Felician Sisters, Our Lady of the Angels Convent, 1315 Enfield Street, Enfield, CT 06082, or to Saint Joseph School, 53 Whitcomb Street, Webster, MA 01570
