Obituary

Angiolina (Mucciarone) Bertone 80, of Franklin, died peacefully, Tuesday August 21, 2012 at Milford Regional Medical Center following a long illness. She was the wife of the late Aquilino M.A. Bertone who died in 2011.
Born February 23, 1932 in San Angelo en Grotte, Province of Campobasso, Italy, a daughter of the late Michele and Assunta (Evangelista) Mucciarone, she was raised and educated in Italy. In 1955 she moved to West Australia and returned to Italy in 1959 and moved to Franklin in 1969.
Mrs. Bertone was a retired assembler for the Whiting and Davis Company.
She was a longtime communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Franklin, and was a member of the Quattro Eroi Lodge #1414 Sons of Italy, Franklin.
She is survived by her beloved daughter Maria Taddeo and her husband Elio of Franklin, a grandson Mark Taddeo, a brother Mario Mucciarone of West Australia and many nieces and nephews, and sister-in-laws & brothers-in-laws.
She is the sister of the late Angelo Paul Mucciarone & Ida Pisani.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Saturday August 25th, at 9:15AM from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Franklin, www.oterifuneralhome.com, with a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church 1 Church Sq. at 10AM. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
Calling hours are Friday Aug. 24th, from 4-8PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory sent to the American Diabetes Association Eastern New England Office 330 Congress St. 5th Floor Boston, MA 02210 would be appreciated.
Maria would like to thank Dr. Monica Woodward, all her nurses & staff members, the Milford VNA, especially Denise Coyle; all the doctors & nurses at Milford Regional Medical Center, Tri-County Elder Services, and Judy DiLegge who provided assistance for my mother’s doctor’s appointments.
