Linda C. Priestley, 70, died Sunday, August 19, 2012 at Roger Williams Hospital in Providence. She was the widow of John J. Priestley.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of Marjorie (Cusworth) Mehew of Smithfield and the late Harry Mehew.
Besides her mother, she is survived by her children: Pam Rainone of Cranston, Brad S. Priestley of Attleboro, MA, Alan N. Priestley of Mahomet, IL, her five grandchildren, her sisters, Harriet Farrar of Smithfield and Susan Crooker of Englewood, FL. She was the mother of the late Diane Priestley.
Her memorial service will be held Thursday at 12 noon in the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Rt. 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Burial private. Visitation Thursday 11:00am-12noon. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to American Cancer Society, 931 Jefferson Boulevard, Suite 3004, Warwick, RI 02886.
