Obituary
Mrs. Brown died Tuesday morning at the Braemoor Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Brockton after a period of failing health. Born in Rockland, daughter of the late Benjamin and Lillian (Knickle) Thomas. Raised and educated in Brockton. For over 50 years she worked in the local shoe industry, retired as supervisor at Foot Joy. She enjoyed crocheting, making hats, doll outfits and she also loved to collect bears. Former member at Dorn Davis Senior Center and St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.
She is survived by a son, David A. Brown of Brockton, a sister, Frances E. Daniels of Brockton and several nieces and nephews.
