Rose DeLuca, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, passed into eternal life on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Spaulding Nursing Therapy Center in Boston after a lenghty illness. She was 90 years old.
Rose was born in Boston on November 9, 1921, a daughter of the late John and Carmelina (Giglio) DeLuca. She grew up in Charlestown and attended the Boston Public School system. Rose was a homemaker most of her life.
Rose is the devoted sister of Carmella Kupchaunis of Charlestown, Fred DeLuca of Boston and the late Jennie Ingrassia, Mary DiSabato and Constance Hogan.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours for Rose on Wednesday morning, August 22, 2012 from 9 to 10 a.m. followed by her Funeral Service at 10 a.m. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown. Interment at St. Michael's Cemetery in Boston.
