George Hook, Jr, 89, passed away Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Franciscan Health Care Center. George was a native of Hardinsburg, Ky. George loved fishing and wood working. He retired from Fort Knox and was a Veteran of WWII. He is preceded in death by his wife Margaret, son George E. Hook, three sisters and one brother. Survivors include his daughter Vicki Jones (Jerry), daughter-in-law Linda Hook, grandchildren Heather, Josh, Mike and Tony. Eight great-grandchildren. His funeral service will be 10am Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy. with burial in Ivy Hill Cemetery Hardinsburg, Ky. Visitation will be held 4pm to 8 pm Monday.
