Dwight Floyd Stone, 64, of Bonaire, Georgia died Friday, August 17, 2012.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, August 21, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald with the Rev. Roger Tucker officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 PM on Monday evening at the funeral home.
Mr. Stone was born October 14, 1947 in Fitzgerald, GA to Judy Yarbrough Stone and the late Floyd O. Stone. He was a 1965 graduate of Fitzgerald High School, attended Brewton Parker College and was a graduate of Georgia Southwestern College. Mr. Stone was retired from Robins Air Force Base where he was an Electronics Specialist. He was of the Baptist faith, was a member of the Bonaire Coffee Club and was an avid hunter.
He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Bradley and Heather Stone of Perry, GA; Daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and James Bridges of Branson, MO; mother, Judy Y. Stone of Fitzgerald, GA; grandchildren, Kaylee Stone, Isabella Bridges, Ashlyn Garnto and Austin Garnto; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Stone.
