LOWELL—Donald E. Poulin, Jr., 47 years old, a lifelong resident of Lowell, died Monday at his home.
He was born in Lowell, on March 20, 1957 a son of Helen M. (O’Neil) Poulin, of Lowell, and the late Donald E. Poulin, Sr., who died in 2003.
Mr. Poulin was a graduate of the Lowell School System. Until his illness, he had been employed as a Clerk at the former Victory Supermarket, in Lowell. He was a league official and statistician for the O’Neil Softball League at the U.S. Bunting Club, in Lowell, and an avid New York Yankees and Notre Dame Football fan.
Surviving him besides his mother are two brothers and a sister-in-law: David and Susan Poulin, of Nashua, NH; and James Poulin, of Lowell; a sister and brother-in-law: Mary Anne and Stephen Carignan, of Nashua, NH; three nieces: Jennifer and Kerry Carignan, and Brooke Poulin; all on New Hampshire; a nephew: Derek Poulin, of Maine; and aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
He was the brother of the late Kenneth J. Poulin, who died in 1996.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 PM on Thursday, May 20th, at the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 187 Nesmith Street. (Rte. 38). His Funeral Mass to be offered at 10 AM Friday, May 21st, at ST.
