Obituary

Frank A. Spagnole, also known as Frank A. Spagnuolo 95 of Medford, died Wednesday after a long illness in the Golden Living Center, Lexington, MA.

Born in Boston, he lived in Medford since 1955 and was formerly of the North End of Boston. He was the son of the late Angelina (Colantuono) and Carmino Spagnuolo. Frank was a Night Chef at the former Statler Hotel in Boston for 19 years and retired in 1982 as Chef of Pine Manor in Chestnut Hill. He served during World War II in the U.S. Army from 1941 to 1945 as a Staff Sergeant with the Battery B 221st Field Artillery Battalion.

Beloved husband of the late Gilda (Elia) Spagnole. Devoted father of Judith Ann Rossi of Lexington and the late Frank A. Spagnuolo. Loving grandfather of Peter and Rosanna Rossi, Laura and Jeff Spagnuolo, Also survived by 3 loving great grandchildren.

Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Saturday at 9:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family form 8:30-9:30 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
