Germaine M. (LaBreche) Moreau, 89, of Westport died Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at Catholic Memorial Home. She was wife of the late Roland L. Bouchard and the late Normand J. Moreau.
Born in Fall River, she was daughter of the late Aime and Rose A. (Antaya) LaBreche. Prior to retirement in 1997, she was the owner/operator of Shiraz Kennels in Westport for 40 years and was a professional dog handler. She was a Communicant of Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport and was a member of the Our Lady of Grace Senior Citizens. Mrs. Moreau was a charter member of the Wampanoag Kennel Club, she founded the former Fall River Dog Training Club and was a Columbiette of Tiverton, RI.
Survivors include a daughter: Diane Gaskell of Swansea; 2 grandchildren: Michelle Lafferty and Joseph Bouchard; a great granddaughter: Alyssa Lafferty; and a nephew and a niece.
She was mother of the late Roger R. Bouchard, grandmother of the late David Lafferty and Sister of the late Fernand LaBreche, Raymond LaBreche and Beatrice Berube.
Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited will be Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport at 10:00 A.M.
Visitation will be from 8:30 – 9:30 A.M. prior to the Mass at the Potter Funeral Home.
Interment will be in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
