WAYLAND: Benjamin M. Cunningham, 35, died on August 9, 2012.
He was born in Boston on June 19, 1977 the beloved son of Michael W. and Carol (Hickey) Cunningham both of Wayland.
Besides his parents he was the loving brother of Jason F. Cunningham of Washington, D.C. and Emily C. Tseng and her husband Andrew M. Tseng both of Hingham. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Benjamin has been a lifelong resident of Wayland and graduated from Wayland High School with the Class of 1996. He attended Syracuse University in New York. For several years he was associated as a sales associate in the field of retail. He loved all sports and especially loved bicycling through Wayland and the neighboring towns. He was devoted to his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He also had a fondness and love of golden retrievers. He will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure to know Ben.
Memorial Visitations will be held on Sunday, August 19, 2012 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Road (Off Route 30), Wayland,
Family and friends may gather on Monday, August 20, 2012 at 10:00 AM at the Good Shepherd Parish at Saint Ann’s Church, 124 Cochituate Road (Route 27), Wayland for his Mass of Christian Burial.
Private family interment will be held in the Cunningham family lot in North Cemetery in Wayland.
In lieu of flowers his family suggests that memorial gifts in his name may be sent to the Yankee Golden Retrievers Rescue, 110 Chapin Road, Hudson, MA 01749.
