Obituary

Mr. Norman Peter Comeau, 79, of Salem, NH, formerly of Wakefield, Tewksbury and Andover, passed away at the Oceanside Nursing Center in Hampton, New Hampshire on Saturday morning, August 11, 2012. He was the beloved husband of the late Beverly E. (Peterson) Comeau.
Born in Everett, Massachusetts, on February 18, 1933, he was the beloved son of the late Fidele and Edith (St. John) Comeau. Mr. Comeau was a truck driver for many years for McLean Trucking Company. He also worked as a bartender. In his spare time, Mr. Comeau enjoyed gardening around his home and traveling, especially to Newbern, North Carolina.
He will be very sorely missed by his loving children; Allyson Misenti of Hudson, New Hampshire, Corinne Comeau of Hampton, New Hampshire and Bruce D. and his wife Michelle J. Comeau of Methuen, siblings; Cathy St. John of Raymond, New Hampshire, Fred Comeau of Reading and Edward Comeau of Bradford, grandchildren; Eric, Brian, Craig, Samantha, Bruce, Allyson, Julie, Wayne, Beverly and Ashley, great-grandchildren; Brianna, Steven, Zack, Jessie and Marcus and many nieces and nephews. Norm was also the loving father of the late Scott Wayne Daniels.
His funeral service was celebrated in the Free Christian Church, 31 Elm Street, Andover, Friday morning, August 17, 2012, at 11 AM. Many relatives and friends were in attendance. Calling hours were held in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover, Thursday, August 16, 2012, from 4 to 8 PM. Burial was held in the Lakeside Cemetery in Wakefield.
