MOLONEY, Michael K. of Pembroke, MA, died on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 in comfort and peace at home after a battle with cancer. He was born in Boston, lived in Roxbury and graduated from English High School, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from UMass Boston and a graduate degree from Boston State. He retired from the Boston Public Schools as a math teacher, hockey coach and girls’ soccer coach, spending his last years teaching at the Snowden International School at Copley and the Juvenile Resource Center in the McCormack Building at Post Office Square. He was the devoted son of Charles J. Moloney and Geraldine J. Moloney (Fallon). He is survived by his beloved partner Linda Hatch, cherished children Kalen and Justin Wolfe, granddaughter Kadence of Bluffton, SC and Lindsay Dow of Pembroke, MA, Michael and Tracy Moloney, granddaughter Emma of Reading, MA and Kelly Moloney and Mark Starling, grandsons Devin and Gavin of Stoneham, MA. His brother, Charles and Paula of Marshfield, MA, sisters Katherine Moloney of Charlestown, MA and Geraldine Moloney of Seattle, WA.
A Funeral Mass will be offered at Our Lady of Assumption Church, 40 Canal Street, Green Harbor, MA on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 10:00AM.
