Mary G. (DiSerio) Dowling, of Stoneham, passed away on Wednesday August 8, 2012 at the Winchester Hospital. She was 87 years old.
Born in Boston, Mary was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph DiSerio and Julia (DiCesare) DiSerio.
Mary was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Mary was the beloved wife of the late James E. Dowling. She was the devoted mother of Linda Cerchione and her husband Michael, Denise Gagnon and her husband Frederick, James Dowling and his wife Elizabeth and Michael Dowling. Mary was the Cherished grandmother of Michael and Derek Cerchione, Christopher Gagnon, William, Jack and Joseph Dowling. Dear sister of Dominic Drexler, Joseph DiSerio and the late Dante and Anthony DiSerio, Theresa Conway and Yolanda Forster.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Friday at 9 am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Mary’s Eternal Life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10 am.
Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Thursday from 4-8 pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants will be available. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Rosilindale.
