Mrs. Bullington was born in Irwin County, Georgia July 1, 1922 to the late Matt and Eula Floyd. She was the youngest child and last surviving of all her siblings. Mrs. Bullington graduated from Mystic High School in 1939 in Mystic, Georgia and attended business school in Macon. It was there during WWII that she met and married Robert Morgan Bullington, Jr. in 1944. One of her brothers tried to discourage the marriage saying that it would never last. This past April they celebrated their 68th anniversary.

Mrs. Bullington was a long time member of Central United Methodist Church where she was active in many areas of the church. She was a member of the Friendship Sunday School Class and the Women’s Circle 5. Her hobbies were sewing, painting and flower arranging. Her greatest joy was time spent with her family. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be missed by those who knew her.

In addition to her husband, Bob, she is survived by one son, Stanley Robert Bullington (Elaine) of Johns Creek, Georgia; two grandchildren: Anna Bullington Allen (Pat) of Flowery Branch, Georgia and Amy Bullington Doggett (Cravens) of Suwanee, Georgia; five great-grandchildren: Alaina Allen, Shelby Allen, Burke Doggett, Claire Doggett and Wyatt Doggett; as well as several nieces and nephews including a loving niece: Angela Hogan Davis (Glenn) of Fitzgerald.

The family suggests memorial donations to Blue and Gray Community Hospice, P.O. Box 1447, Fitzgerald, Georgia 31750 be made in lieu of flowers.
