William G. Drumm, 69, of Sterling, died, Thursday, August 9th in his home with his family at his side. He leaves his wife Lois (Dodway)Drumm; his son, William N. Drumm and his wife, Tawnya of Paxton; and his daughter, Sandy Haalck and her husband, Bill of Tolland, CT; three grandsons, Trent and Brett Drumm and Craig Haalck. Mr. Drumm also leaves his very close cousin, Ginny Mitchell of Whitesboro, NY and long time friends, Marion and Richard Ray of Paxton.
He was born in Little Falls, NY the son of William E. and Mary Ellen (Kelleher) Drumm. Bill was a graduate of St. Mary’s Academy in Little Falls, Sienna College and earned his MBA from Syracuse University. Mr. Drumm served in the United States Army as a Captain during the Vietnam War. Bill had been CEO for Sancliff, Inc. since 1983. He was a member of Oak Hill Country Club in Fitchburg, and enjoyed sailing and fishing as well as golf.
Family and friends are invited to share their memories on Wednesday, August 15th from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester. Burial will take place at a future date in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Little Falls, NY.
