Ruby M. Henderson, 94, of Irwin County, Georgia, died May 14, 2004 at Osceola Nursing Home, Ocilla, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Monday, May 17, 2004, at Big Creek Baptist Church, Irwin County, with Rev. Tommy Land, Jr. and Rev. Ed Reeves officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 7:00 until 9:00 Sunday evening at the funeral home.
Mrs. Henderson was born November 8, 1909 in Irwin County, Georgia to the late Fort Jasper and Sarah Elmina Mann McDaniel. She was a housewife and the oldest living member of Big Creek Baptist Church in Irwin County.
Mrs. Henderson is survived by her son: Carroll Henderson, Irwin County; one daughter: Christine DeBusk, Inverness, FL; eleven grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman J. Henderson and one son, Herman Jesse Henderson, Jr.
